Fall Colors

There are some fall colors on the peaks below camp. The cooler nights and warm days have helped to bring them out. If I had to guess, I would say next week is going to be a great time to be the woods checking out the amazing display of color. Yesterday was an incredible day. The high was 62 with a low of 42. The skies are blue and you can see great distances from the top.

Colors are coming out, but are homes moving in? I zoomed in about as far as I could on the blip in the background and it looks like a building. What is it? Has it always been there? Not sure where you took the shot, but if it is a shot in the park, a modern looking structure seems out of place, a scar upon the face of a mountain otherwise graced with trees and turning leaves.

Tom,
This shot was taken from the back porch of the kitchen. The peak you see is in the park. The building in the background is out side of the park.
