It is going to be a beautiful day for a hike. The sun is shining and the weatherman says it is supposed to be warmer. The temperature reached 32 last night. It was a bit chilly. Yesterdays high was 48. I hope everyone gets a chance to get outdoors today and enjoy spring at its finest.

Wish we could hike up today. Unfortunately work calls. Missing all of you and the solitude of the LeConte Lodge experience.

Hiked to LeConte on Friday via Alum Cave trail. Surprised the high was only 48. It seemed warmer.

Enjoyed the trip and visited Myrtle Point and Cliff Tops. Clear day made for excellent views.

Will hike again within the next two weeks.

What great words from Muir. Yes, I did manage to get up Brushy Mountain today. Couldn't have been more perfect hiking weather. What part of the lodge is visible from over on Brushy? I thought I was seeing a roof or something up at the lodge today.
