I thought she was riding straight towards me and then she made a right-hand turn. So then I went chasing after her to at least get this much of the shot. The basket on the front of the bike was full of all kinds of greenery. Don’t overlook her boots.

The resulting global economy keeps prices low. People do not need to work or live only in their native area. However, better travel also means that people are more likely to spread disease from place to place

And that's kind of me. I work, I take naps, and when I'm not working or sleeping I'm shopping and thinking about style. I probably won't talk about the working or sleeping thing much about on this blog, but you will find posts about trends

Getting married is a joyous occasion that requires a lot of preparation. Making a detailed shopping list is one way to take some of the stress out of wedding planning. A list can be obtained from wedding planning websites, from registries or with the help of friends and family who have been married. The list should be broken down into stages such as before the wedding, wedding day, reception, and after the wedding. Once the list is made, seek out the help of family and friends to complete the details.

If you are concerned about any existing health issues or unhealthy habits that you or your partner may have, consider preconception planning. Your doctor can assess your overall health and help you identify lifestyle changes that may improve your chances for a healthy pregnancy.

This post is from the GSMA's facebook page, figured this would be important for anybody looking to visit LeConte in the near future, especially from NC side of park.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park has closed Newfound Gap Road (U.S. 441) due to a landslide which undercut the road near mile marker 22 between Collins Creeks and Webb Overlook at 9:40 am. The slide is estimated to be a 200 foot section of road extending 1000 foot down slope, but the full extent of the damage is not yet known. The closure is expected to be in effect for an extended period of time.

The park is evaluating the remainder of the roadway, but anticipates Newfound Gap Road will be opened to visitors from the Gatlinburg Entrance in Tennessee to Newfound Gap Parking lot as soon as it is possible. The road will be open to Smokemont on the North Carolina side.

Park staff are working with the Department of Federal Highway’s Construction and Geotechnical Services to evaluate the slide damage and to begin planning for repairs. Additional details will be released as the condition assessments are analyzed.

As of midnight, Tuesday, January 15, the park received 8.56 inches of rain measured at Cherokee, 7.4 inches at Newfound Gap and 6.86 inches at LeConte. Rivers and streams have been running fast and high since Sunday when the rains began. There are currently multiple temporary road closures throughout the park due to high water.

For the most current road closure reports, please call 865-436-1200 x 631 or follow SmokiesRoadsNPS on Twitter.

A third hiker in the photo was obvious. Hope the Virdens have a safe hike up that marvelous mountain; it's not exactly a climb for the faint-hearted or out-of-shape but they are certainly very capable of making it as they will. I'm glad JP has so many admirers who worry about his health and whereabouts; he's placed on a very high podium, eh !? He'll be back soon and I hope his vacation is fruitful. Thanks Johnno for the information; that's the kind of news that is most helpful.
