It was amazing yesterday, clear skies, 58 degrees, what more could you ask for?
Hiking up to Cliff Tops and enjoying the rays made the day, if not the week. It looks like we might have more fantastic weather despite the 31 overnight low. 53. 31. It's so gorgeous. Go bask in the glory of the outdoors! Shout out to the birthday twins and interrogator from North table!
It was nice seeing the gentleman from LA hanging out up here today, too, the first time this season. 53 yesterday dropped to 30 and it is yet again a gorgeous day. It is spectacular outside. No words can describe how wonderful it is out here. If you are coming up today please remember to be courteous to your fellow hikers by packing out all your trash!
It is hot and sunny guys! Yesterday was overcast and 48 , nighttime revelries were 35-- it's super sunny today! Plus it's llama day! It's too nice to be inside. If you come up to see us don't forget to hike out what you hike in!
It was extremely pleasant yesterday! Besides our llama buddies coming up to say hello, we now have deer that skirt around camp and don't seem to mind poorly constructed shanties about incinerators. 49 was the high, sunny, almost too warm! 39 overnight is also too warm. But we shall endure. Shout out to the sand eaters (?) and Deadhead who didn't mind chatting it up a bit yesterday.
Come back and see us! (Don't forget to comment, now!) Yesterday started out quite dreary until late afternoon when the sun came out and pummeled us with its rays. 48, ladies and gentlemen, was the high, dropping to 28 at night. Very mysterious indeed. Right now it is sunny and 36 degrees. For all those who miss #brians posts, do not fear, he will be back by #popular demand.
It's llama day! Remember to leave room for them in the Trillium parking lot! Hello down there!!!! #brian here! What is up my fellow blog groupies? It has been too long. Well what to blog about? How about that weather? It has been all over the place. We have seen sun, and rain and snow and wind and much puddles. The high yesterday reached a steamy 51 degrees and the Mercury dipped down to 36. It is currently 39 degrees and cloudy. They are calling for more precipitated condensate so if you all are planning to come and congratulate me on my great blogging skills, please bring some rain gear.
#weHaveNoTelevision UPDATE: It sounds like it will rain tomorrow and cool down again, rain gear and gaiters strongly recommended. It warmed up yesterday! Ice and snow ran, literally, down the mountainside as the sun pelted it's rays with fervor. 47 was replaced with a 29 overnight, and we are hoping for another warm spell so we don't have to wear micro spikes for a week straight. Because it makes us sound like Cowboys. A Herbert has been located but not yet retrieved, I fear it may be yet another day or so before he can be captured.
Herbert and Herbert II patiently await their new brother. Such good children. Really are keepers. Win and Co. better comment on this post or else! The sun came out! The sun came out! 'Twas misty and the slithering winter did flood and overwhelm those on the mount. The sun in it's glorious volcanic fervor blessed the people for a time, the ice receding till the dusky clouds overcame. The frozen night suffered warmth, 14 turning to 31 in a matter of hours. The trails are slick, lots of ice around camp and such so be cautious coming up!
Micro spikes are a must! Pack warmly! It appears as though another Herbert has been sighted... It's cold up here guys! The day was 25 and overcast with off and on snow flurries that very few chose to meander through. It was 15 last night!15! And windy! The llamas braved yesterday's cold without their full coats and we were glad to see them.
Please remember to respect reserved parking spaces in the Trillium parking lot and to leave space for the llamas to load up! Pack in layers! Pack waterproof! Bring gaiters! Bring micro spikes! It's cold up here! |
