Cool air has moved in with the storms. The mountain top is whistling like crazy. Winds like this keep the Park trail crews busy clearing debris from the trail. The winds moved in yesterday. The high was 56 with a low of 48. It feels like the temperature is dropping this morning.

Morning up top, get ready for some more rough weather. Hopefully knowone is hiking up first thing this morning with this next system fixing to hit. Going to the top, always check the weather first. Better safe than sorry.

The first weekend of March I actually hiked up Trillium Gap and down Bullhead and the winds were nearly that strong at top. While it was an interesting hike, I will not hike in those conditions again if I can help it.

So glad we decided to hike up on Tuesday instead of Wednesday....Hiked up Rainbow Falls and down Bull Head ...what beautiful wildflowers all the way down....See you in the fall. Comments are closed.
