Great colors for sunset last night. It was a cool 44 with a high of 67. Weather doesn't get any better then this. It has been beautiful the last few days. If you have a little extra time, hike up and see us.

My husband and I hiked up due to a cancellation and the sunset was awesome. I have seen sunsets over the Grand Canyon and Alaska skies, but the one at Mt. Leconte is my new favorite. It was our second stay at the lodge and would stay more if we can get reservations. Crew was just as great as back in March when we visited.

Allyson, welcome back - love your posts, read them every morning. Made my first hike up to LeConte while you were in Alaska, so didn't get to meet you, but husband and I had a wonderful one-night stay. I have NEVER seen a night sky like the one at LeConte. The whole visit was magical. Thanks to all the crew!!! Comments are closed.
