Morning, ya'll! Ruthie here, back from 8 very busy but wonderful days off! Returning to the mountain in always a joy and hiking at night is a beautiful way to see the mountain in a different light, especially when it is a good 15 degrees cooler after the sun goes down...And yesterday that was a welcome relief with the high up top hitting 70 and the low only cooling to 55. We received .32" of much needed rain yesterday and very early this morning and the rain has been coming in heavy waves all day. We are still currently at 55 degrees and there are thunderstorms and showers in the forecast for the afternoon...seasonally appropriate weather on the eve of summer solstice! Everyone stay as dry as you can and we will see you up top!
