Mother Nature's Shenanigans

5/6/2011

Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. That is a picture of snow. Wednesday I was wearing a down jacket and snow boots. Thursday I was wearing a t-shirt and sitting barefoot in the grass. Today, it is back to layers. The high yesterday was 57 with a low of 27. It is currently 33 degrees. We have had clouds, snow, and now the sun is trying to come out. This just goes to show how unpredictable the weather can be in these mountains.

Allyson,

Don't worry we've got 80's predicted for next week here in the Valley. That sould bring 60's or higher to you on the mountain.

Yes, here in Missouri it has been unusually chilly - low 50's during the day and the heater is back on at home! Next week the weathermen are showing mid 80's. Mother Nature doesn't know what's up!

Have a wonderful day!

Sitting about 4000 ft below you, we appreciate your "on the spot" reports! Seems that a year or two ago there was a May snow too...thanks again!

My windshield was frosted this morning in South-East Pennsylvania. Looks like its turning out to be another unusually cool Spring all around.

Yes, it seems Mother Nature can't decide on what weather it's gonna be. Not only strange but it should be a cause for concern what with all the climate change going on.
