The mountain top was one with the cloud yesterday, as the grey veil refused to let go. It did help to keep things from getting hot unlike down below where warmer temps prevailed. That trend ends today though as temps across the region are expected to cool and skies clear. Going to make for a fabulous Labor Day weekend in these parts. Speaking of cool downs, those bigger and rockier mountains to the west might be seeing fresh snow in the coming days. Thankfully not anything we’re anticipating anytime soon, but just goes to show that the summer season is slowly winding down. Temps will solidly be in the 50s the next few days, although sunny day time highs should tap the lower 60s and overnight lows could dip into the upper 40s. So be sure and pack those layers for evening meal service and going to enjoy sunset from Cliff Tops.
Have a great start to the weekend.
