Morning,

The high yesterday reached 47 degrees. The low was 43 degrees. It was 47 degrees and drizzling at 7am observation. The mountain received 1.42" of new precipitation yesterday. There is no more snow left on the ground. The trails are clear of ice, but are still very wet. Enjoy the day.

I have never commented on this site before, but visit this site each and every day. I look forward to reading J.P's musings everyday. I noticed that they have now taken J.P.'s picture and bio down from the right side of the screen. I sure hope he is still there and will continue his postings!

JP did mention he would be taking a trip to California...best wishes on his journey. Hoping that his knee mends and he returns to finish out the winter season. I enjoy his random posts for what they are...the musings of a mountain man...musings that often for whatever reason touch many of us. Many of us that read the blog check in because we've climbed this mountain often and shared any number of experiences with ones we love. In some way the blog gets us there again. Please do not allow the snippiness or pettiness of a few ruin it for the rest of us. Goes back the the simple rule that if you don't have anything positive to say...then why say it? Love the mountain, the photos, the weather updates, and the ramblings of JP. Got to meet him on one of our trips up last February...sweet kid. Thoughts and prayers for our summer hosts Chris and Allyson as they summit a faraway mountain...very jealous.

Ok, I went back and check and seen Mr. Trollman's... I mean Mr. Tilman's comments. Now I understand.

I so enjoy this site and all it has to offer.....except for those who choose to find the negative. Love the quotes and pictures and would just like to say I think JP does an excellent job. Look forward to his future posts. There will be people that will do their best to find fault with others....just carry on.

Well, JP isn't missing out on any snow while hes gone. Maybe he'll be lucky and catch a huge blast when he gets back. Have a good time JP. Thank you to whoever is writing, your doing great. If I was winter care taker for the week, I would love this warm weather your having. The rain, not so much. But I guess you have to take what you get. Have a great day, and Thank you! :)

What's wrong with my comments, WB !? I never intend to insult or demean people, I just state the facts. Some people can't handle the facts. I don't mean to come across as controversial as some imply. "Trollman"....really; is that just a mistake or your own version of an insult. Self rightous ? Snipiness and pettiness ? Facts, just facts. Just because someone disagrees with you is no excuse to be so "self rightous", or is it that you treat a particular person as some sort of god ? Perhaps it's because it's because you need to be the center of attention. This has gone way too far to put it in simple English.

Tillman.. had you ever paused to consider that perhaps there are places where the rules of grammar ought to simply go play behind an evergreen tree in the moss-? This particular blog is just such a place, I believe - and at least to me 'twas the original words of the winter caretaker which rang truest

Righteous, Mr. Tillman, righteous. Just stating the facts.
