Hello everybody, Crew votes are in.. Today has been awarded the prettiest day since the 2018 season began! We have rich blue skies with brilliant white clouds, a balmy breeze and temps in the upper 40s. During camp this morning, the crew stopped for a moment to admire a doe (affectionately named Marjorie) and listened to birds chirping in the spring air. After what feels like weeks of being socked in, we are all loving how lively camp has become. After finishing camp, we opened the doors to the dining room porch and soaked in how truly lucky we are to live and work on this beautiful mountain.   -Adventure is out there.

How beautiful - and what a contrast from the cloudy conditions we have experienced all day here in the valley in Knoxville.

Since they're resuming trail work on Rainbow Falls Trail soon, would it be possible to hike down it on a Friday morning? Is it closed from the top? We'll be coming up Alum Cave trail on a Thursday. Specifically looking at April 18. Thanks!

Glad to see so many new faces on the crew this year. One name I noticed was missing from the list was Tim and Lisa Line.Have they retired from the LeConte operation? Met both up top in 1989. Lisa is from our hometown of Cincinnati.
