Morning y'all,

It's a gorgeous, clear morning. The high up top reached 28 degrees. The overnight low was 11 degrees. It was 25 degrees and clear at 7am observation. The mountain received no new snow or precipitation and there is no snow remaining up top. The trails are in great shape, there is very little ice left to work your way around. With a little bit of caution, it is easy to negotiate.

The bleached bright sun brings a warmth beyond words, blonding hair and tanning legs for the long joyous days ahead.

Morning y'all,

It's a beautiful, brisk morning up top. The high yesterday reached 24 degrees. The overnight low was 11 degrees. It was 14 degrees and clear at 7am observation. The mountain received no precipitation and there is still no snow on the ground up top. There are only 2 tricky sections on Alum, but if you proceed with caution you should be able to reach the top without spikes. It's shaping up to be a beautiful day, enjoy!

A fantastic spattering of colour is lighting up the horizon, the cool air reminds you just how ALIVE you are.

Morning y'all,

It's another cloudy morning up top. The high yesterday reached 35 degrees. The overnight low was 11 degrees. It was 12 degrees and cloudy at 7am observation. The mountain received no new precipitation and there is still no snow remaining up top. It looks like we'll have some cold temperatures over the next few days with little precipitation. It could be your last chance to hike in crisp weather, enjoy!

Morning y'all,

It's a beautiful, cloudy day up top. The high yesterday reached 35 degrees. The overnight low was 22 degrees. It was 26 degrees and cloudy at 7am observation. The mountain received no new precipitation and there is no snow on the ground. The trails are still clear, although they are frozen solid and have some black ice in spots. It looks like we may receive some flurries this afternoon. Enjoy!

The starshow was a perfect thing last night, most were busy at home, but a few intrepid explorers shot across the sky like out of a laser cannon... sky therapy.

Morning y'all,

It is a beautiful, clear day up top. The high yesterday reached 48 degrees! The overnight low brought a little bit of winter back and hit 22 degrees. It was 22 degrees and clear at 7am observation. The mountain received no new rain or snow and there is no snow remaining up top. There is very little ice remaining on Alum and it looks as though it may stay that way throughout the week. The trails are in great shape.

It is easy to savor these boldbright days and clear starstrewn nights.

Morning y'all,

It's a beautiful, clear morning up top. The high yesterday reached 33 degrees. The overnight low was 20 degrees. It was 30 degrees and clear at 7am observation. The mountain received no new precipitation and there is very little snow left up top. I would bet that it melts away in all but the most stubborn, shadow lit places. The trails are in great shape. I haven't seen this little ice in many moons. Get out and enjoy it before we get more ice and water to muck it back up! On-on!!!

love is all. all my soul.

Morning y'all,

It's a crisp, cloudy day up top. The high yesterday reached 48 degrees. The overnight low got down to 28 degrees. It was 28 degrees and cloudy at 7am observation. The mountain received 1.02 inches of rain yesterday evening. There is only patchy snow remaining up top, but there is quite a lot of black ice that formed last evening. Be careful if you'll be out and about today.

This slow thaw is strangely comforting.

but i'm all alone at last, rolling home to you.

Morning y'all,

It is another gloomy, blustery day up top. The high yesterday reached 43 degrees. The low temperature was 23 degrees. It was 42 degrees and cloudy at 7am observation with some heavy winds thrashing about the mountain. The mountain received no new precipitation yesterday and there is still about 4 inches of snow left on the ground up top. The trails are in really nasty shape. Be prepared for a sloppy day if you head out.

The spirited winds console, brushing away dark moods with their swift current.
