April.30.2016. Snail traffic

4/30/2016

There are tons of snails up here!

Nothing compared to the specimens you pass while on Trillium, but we have enough to warrant a small neighborhood.

They come out when it's to dark to take pictures though, unfortunately.

Breakfast is awaiting
Oh, yes.

The high for yesterday was 61, the overnight low 41.

It's going to be a hot season guys!

Please remember to take your cigarette butts back down with you!

April.29.2016. Sunburns and sunning

4/29/2016

61 everybody.

61 and sunny with a slight breeze that didn't do enough to keep the flies off of you.

It was also an excellent day for people to mistake you for a bear.
Picture
Despite the 39 low It sounds like it will end up being gorgeous today, so get out and enjoy it.

It is also llama day! Please leave room for the boys in the Trillium parking lot!

Don't forget to hike out whatever you hike in.

April.27.2016. Misty mountain bears...?

4/27/2016

A very overcast, misty day let the sun break through a few times, making the supposed 62 degrees seem more chilly than expected.

An overnight low of 44 (warm!) was also surprising.

Oh yeah, and we saw a bear near the Cliff Tops/Myrtle Point junction.

Just so you know.
Picture
Today looks promising on the sunny standpoint, plus it's llama day!

Remember to leave room around them in the Trillium parking lot.

Let us know if you see any bears hiking up today!

The high yesterday reached 60 and the low dropped to 41 degrees.
There wasn't any rain over night, but I feel it in the air.

How fantastic is this weather?

Sunny!
Beautiful clouds, beautiful sunset, what else could you want.

33 was the low, but you would hardly notice it with the fantastic sunrise.

4/24/2016

It is going to be gorgeous out here today!

The general overcast dampness left during the night and we awake to the SUN.

April.23.2016. Smells like wet dog

4/23/2016

We had some crazy rain up here!

It was 58 then dropped to 43 degrees during lunch, rainy cold, and whenever you talked you looked spooky.

It was 38 overnight, and although the rain had stopped its misty, wet, and super wet.

Bring up your rain gear today!

The rain will definitely slick up the trails so take your time and be cautious.

Hello down there! How are my valley dwellers today on this day of days? Well... not much going on up here. Thank you for the pineapple the other day, pineapple person friend. #YouKnowWhoYouAre It was delicious and as you all are aware, fresh produce is graciously excepted up here. #thatWasntAHintISwear
It is a blustery day on the mountain. It is currently 52 degrees and windy. Yesterday's high reached a whopping 64 degrees and the low plummeted to 41.

Hello down there!! #Brian here. Ryn is down for her much needed days off, so you all are stuck with me for the next few days. #sorry
The day time temps couldn't be more perfect for hiking. It is currently 59 degrees and lovely. Yesterday's high reached a steamy 62 degrees and the low dropped to 41 over night. We have not received any precipitation the last seven days. Sounds as if that is about to change soon, so if you are planning a visit, please come prepared. #TheEnd
