Godzilla it's warm!!

4/19/2016

Hello down there!! #Brian here. Ryn is down for her much needed days off, so you all are stuck with me for the next few days. #sorry
The day time temps couldn't be more perfect for hiking. It is currently 59 degrees and lovely. Yesterday's high reached a steamy 62 degrees and the low dropped to 41 over night. We have not received any precipitation the last seven days. Sounds as if that is about to change soon, so if you are planning a visit, please come prepared. #TheEnd

Is Godzilla's job to make sure the Herbert family doesn't get blown away? Or, can Godzilla be taught to singe the eyebrows of hikers who throw stuff all over the trail and the Lodge Area?
I do remember seeing Godzilla in previous years in various places around the Lodge, and I'm sure there's probably a series of stories attached to his presence. Does anyone know LeConte Godzilla's back story?

No, it's not Godzilla ! It's Brian when he hasn't had his no-bake cookie for the day! Once he gets that no-bake cookie he'll be back to his old self! (I have nothing today!)

Thanks for the great stay on 4/18. As always, the accommodations were exceptional. It was nice to meet Tracy and to have the opportunity to talk with her. I apologize to her for not sharing my wine. Thanks to the entire LeConte crew.
