61 everybody. 61 and sunny with a slight breeze that didn't do enough to keep the flies off of you. It was also an excellent day for people to mistake you for a bear. Despite the 39 low It sounds like it will end up being gorgeous today, so get out and enjoy it.
It is also llama day! Please leave room for the boys in the Trillium parking lot! Don't forget to hike out whatever you hike in.

Have many bear stories from being on crew (twice) up there... including my freshly washed LeConte sweatshirt being mauled (OK, just ripped) by said bear on my porch. (I had hung it out to dry and still have it stored in a box somewhere with bear hairs still on it!). This was 1987... but many more stories also. Life is an adventure, done many, doing many more ;)

Had a great stay Thursday the 28th, thank you to the staff for all your hard work! Lots of Trout Lilly blooming, along with Spring Beauty on the Boulevard & the AT. The views are still good since all the leaves aren't completely out. Close to New Found Gap on the AT star chickweed, fringed phacelia, dandelion and Bluets are just beautiful.

Pretty sure I'm the guy that thought you were a bear! Apologies for interrupting reading time. Myrtle Point explorations to nowhere.... Comments are closed.
