Hello down there! How are my valley dwellers today on this day of days? Well... not much going on up here. Thank you for the pineapple the other day, pineapple person friend. #YouKnowWhoYouAre It was delicious and as you all are aware, fresh produce is graciously excepted up here. #thatWasntAHintISwear It is a blustery day on the mountain. It is currently 52 degrees and windy. Yesterday's high reached a whopping 64 degrees and the low plummeted to 41. We received zero precipitated condensate but that is soon to change. #itsGettingWetupHere

I love pineapple!!! Sorry to hear your fresh produce is minimal. If we hike back up this year a pineapple will be in my bag... Love Mt. LeConte, the Smokies and your post!! :)

Enjoy the quiet weekdays of the next few weeks... because I'm sure it will only get crazier with warmer weather and more of us day hiker types coming for a visit!

Hiked to the lodge and high point on Wednesday via the Alum Cave trail. I was impressed by the improvements made last year and saw the notification regarding additional work beginning in May.
