Happy Friday,

​We are having another beautiful day here at the lodge with warm air and clear skies. Temperatures are expected to stay above the low 40s as the sun sets and into tomorrow.

Why is Emily awesome?

We would like to highlight another one of the wonderful crew members here at the lodge for the 2018 season, Emily Buie. Emily has her Masters Degree in Non-profit Management which has led her all around the globe to places such as London, West Africa, Israel and Geneva. Her accomplishments don't stop there as she has experience working with Emergency Response teams and wild land firefighting as they performed conservation efforts at the state and national park levels. 

This is Emily's first season with LeConte Lodge and she is fully embracing the lifestyle change. In her downtime, Emily enjoys taking day hikes on the many trails offered to explore here in the backcountry as well as hanging out with her llama friends (Buck is her favorite).
