2012 LeConte Crew

The 2012 LeConte Crew
For the first time this season the gang was all here. We finally got our annual crew photo made. It is great to go back and look at the many faces that have worked on the mountain. It really is like one big family. Since Chris and I don't have children, the crew members become like our kids, even if they are 15 years older then us. We love seeing the younger crew members  visit later with their families. It is always a delight to keep up with the crews from the past and hear what is happening in their lives and how LeConte will forever play a role in who they are today.

The weather has been lovely but cool. The lows over the weekend were in the mid 30s. Last nights low was 41 with a high of 57. So far, June feels colder then April did. Chris and I are getting ready for some more days off. We are excited to visit some family in New York state and enjoy some warmer temperatures. These days off will also include watching John and Bonnie tie the knot. When they come back from days off, they will be husband and wife. We are so happy for them.

Awsome looking crew!! They make the lodge a wonderful place to visit. I'd love to be one of your kids someday Allyson. They do a great job.
Enjoy New York and the wedding. I'm in the process of planning a wedding next year myself. My daughter is planning next summer sometime. Good thing I'm coming up this year, may not beable to afford it next year.

Is the color on everyone's comments real light and hard to see, or is it just me?

Sorry folks. I am not sure why the comments are coming up in that color. I did not change anything. I am trying to fix the issue.

Hi all,
GREAT Looking team!
I am curious though who the Buckeye and Wolverine band alumni are and what years they marched those hollowed grounds :) ???

Allyson, are we going to miss you (arriving Sunday)? Isn't your birthday in the next several days?! I hope we see you, but if not -- enjoy the trip and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
