For those of you who asked to see the shirt, here it is. We decided it was time to feature the llamas. These shirts are only available at the lodge. So, lace up those hiking boots and come up to see us.

It is a dreary day on the mountain. High winds and rain are melting the snow rather quickly. The high yesterday was 41º with a 24 hour low of 24º. It is currently 37º. The llamas are supposed to make their first trip up the mountain tomorrow. Let's hope the ice is melted and the trail is passable.

I like the concept of the shirt, but I am not crazy about the design on the back. The numbers could be much better in my opinion.

Wow, the shirts are awesome this year! And this is the year my son and a friend take my place. I may have to "cheat" and have them bring me one anyway. Can you give us an idea what colors are available this year too? And do you have regular sweat shirts with the 2014 design? Nosy aren't I? Thanks for your answers.
Cold here in Indiana but they are saying 60 tomorrow...can Spring be far behind?

Good morning, Allyson. Looks like another great T-shirt design. Who gets the credit for all this great art work? And what does it take to produce these wonderful collectables?

That's an attractive t-shirt. Nice. But the elevaton on the back should read about 6,350 thereabouts.

Haha, stickler for detail, aren't you? But perhaps most of the folks who visit the Lodge go on to hit High Point. If you really wanted to be a fussbudget about it, you would issue different T-shirts depending on the amount of elevation gain the individual achieved to get to the Lodge. For instance, blue for <3,000, red for <4,000, yellow for <5,000 (achieved off-trail from Porters Creek up, say, Cannon Creek).

I LOVE the shirt design! What colors does the shirt come in and what sizes do you carry? Thanks!

I like the new t-shirt. The back gives the lodge's elevation as the same as Mt. Leconte; which is correct ?

Hey Pat - I'm coming up in September to buy a T-Shirt from you. I'm depending on you to pick out the size and color for me. Thanks!! Love you

AWSOME shirts...I love the Llama theme! I was supposed to get mine today, but I had a half hour delay while they cleared a tree on Cherokee Orchard, and my turn around time rapidly came upon me. With regrets I decided to turn at Rainbow Falls today (huge sigh). The two young men who started when I did made good time, however, (they were already gone when I got to the falls) and were probably the first two topside this AM! I passed a total of 8 people coming up....... via Rainbow, you will have a great day up there! The trail was super muddy and the wind nearly knocked me over a few times....so I hope everyone gets up safely. Cant wait to get my tee. Will have to wait until next month......thanks for showing it!

I think this is the first llama shirt since 2004.... which was the year of our first hike to the Lodge (and our first lodge t-shirts!).

Love the shirt and the llamas. We got to feed the llamas last September and that was one of the highlights of our trip but there are several highlights to LeConte Lodge. We absolutely love it up there. We will be there in 2 weeks and bringing a 1st timer with us. We can't wait to come to the lodge, see the crew, drink the hot chocolate, eat the delicious food and buy the shirts!!!!!

I love the new shirt. I cannot wait to hike up and get one. We attempted last weekend but you were not ready yet. Wanted to yesterday but the rain prevented us from coming then. Hopefully, this weekend will be successful.
