The LeConte Lodge 2015 Calendars are in. You can order your calendar at our online store, http://www.lecontelodge.com/store/ , or you can purchase one at the top of the mountain. They are sealed in plastic for weather protection. You can enjoy a different photo each month.
We have been blessed with amazing weather this week. The high was 68º again with a low of 48º. I feel as though we have had more sunny days in the past two months than we did all last year. I am so grateful to have this weather my last season on the mountain. We had a fun day yesterday. We celebrated two crew birthdays. Chris and Brad had a great mountain birthday. They both went for a hike and enjoyed a beautiful day outside. There are so many beautiful photographs of the lodge, the mountain, and everything around there that it has to be a difficult task to select only twelve for the new calendar ! I don't know if I could even begin to make appropriate choices because of the vast number available. I have stored on a separate disk for protection all the photos posted on this site for the last, well, I'll have to look, and of course, these are solely for my own enjoyment. On another disk I have literally hundreds of photos of my own, many from the same spots that a lot near the lodge have been taken from. I have plans to post these on my own web site once I upgrade to where I can do that. Basically, I simply love to share these with everyone who shares my love for the mountains, specifically the Smoky Mountains, as I do all my experiences. As do others, I begin my days usually with a visit to this site, and I always appreciate what I see and read. Good day to all.
