55 was the high yesterday, making the boomers (aka squirrels) act more insanely possessive of rooftops than usual.
Oh well. 36 was the clear, moonlit low and spectacularly pretty.

Thank you for the reminder about the squirrels being called "Boomers". I had this image for a split second of hordes of people born between 1946 and 1964 sitting on the cabin roofs :-)

Boomers also refer to US Navy nuclear missile submarines and crews like the one I served aboard in the 1970a. Imagine having a submarine up on Leconte!

What time do the llamas normally leave the Trillium trailhead? Thinking of trying to see them at the falls Sunday if things work out.
