6.12.16. The evolution of chair

6/12/2016

72 guys.

72 degrees yesterday, full sun all day, gorgeous sunset.

Too beautiful for words.

A 54 overnight has opened up a cloudy day, and dare I say it, it's a bit chilly this morning!

No more llama Mondays? Too bad, my favorite day to hike to the lodge.

There are ten of us in a group that come up. Some of us have been sixteen times. A few of us have one more trip we can do before retiring from the mountain. Next time (last time) we plan to stay two nights. Could get a couple chairs done during the full day. The other goal is to see Alum when it is finished.
For those people that do not like steps there is Bullhead Trail.

The patterns on the new bottoms are interesting. This pattern is similar to Southern porch rockers I have seen.

We're copying the seat patterns we have up and checking them out. Do you like some patterns over others?

The chairs look nice! My granddad (mom's dad) knew how to cane chairs and I wish I had learned how to do it. Just to know how. He used paper rush though. Have a happy day up there today!
