6.19.17 : Raindrops keep falling on my head...

Weather gets weirder everyday here!

It's humid up here, and chilly at night. 65/52 have been the general temps the past few days and no rain yet rain even though we've been hanging out in the clouds for a bit now.

Hershey seems pretty cute

The next few days sound like frog stranglers with Wednesday as our only sunny day this week!

For real guys, bring your rain stuff! Also, lots of water. It's so humid on the trail dehydration is getting to be an issue for hikers so please make sure to drink plenty of water. Bring up something to mix with your water, like electrolytes, to help your body recover.

And then he does stuff like this
People hiking up Alum early in the morning have spotted a mama bear and cubs walking about, so please keep your distance until they pass through. Make some sort of noise to alert them to your presence!

Llamas Wednesday and Friday!

Hershey knows when to act like a star. He likes to show off for the camera. He is so cute. It's not Bears camera day. Keep up the really good pictures of the llamas. I love looking at the good ones and the funny ones too. When we were up there I really enjoyed feeding them. I hope to get back up there some time and be able to see them all again. Thanks again for the wonderful job done on the posts.

The last picture of Hershey and Bear made me think of something my dad would always do. If we were traveling somewhere and he saw two animals (usually donkies) he would always say "Well looky there....there's Tammy and Ronnie!". Referring to my brother and me. He would have loved the llamas and he would also have loved the lodge. Miss him......
