SERIOUS RAIN PEOPLE!

It was a cooler 71/53 day, but then we were rained on for a bit... We got 3.30" of rain.

That's a lot!

Stay off Rainbow if you're coming up this week, rain is in the schedule for sure so pack wick, plastic bag EVERYTHING, and don't forget your gators.

What beautiful pics.Haven't been able to get on comp.for several days and the pics.are Awesome.The lamps are beautiful look green are they?The scenery of porch is amazing wish I had it off mine.LOLSounds like lot of rain and is the same here in Ms.70% again today and bad thunder storms sun.neighbor's out door bldg.was struck by lighting but didn't get to the house thanks to fire-dept.HAGD and keep pics.coming!!!!!!

I won't drink that water. It would only anger the llamas that I was taking from their troughs! I hope you all get some breaks in the rain... and enough breezes to allow stuff to air dry.

I have not yet seen a picture but around two years ago around 4 JUL there was a bunch of rain and apparently rerouted the flow such that when rain is intense the last stream crossing, above the falls, cannot be made. That night a group that was headed down, unprepared and late, had to turn back and get shelter at the lodge for the night.

mapsurban,I take you have never been to Rainbow Falls,I recommend you take the ADVICE are you could regret it the rest of your life.We hiked to the falls our 1st.time after a big rain and we thought we were going to have to swim before we got there.LOL No kidding the boulders are sooooooowet and slicky it could really,really bad.HAGD
