Whata weekend! Cookies, presents from our wish list (thank you so much!), and old favorites came up to see us over the weekend. We are most likely going to get rained on, our temps more recently being 70/67. Buttermilk, Justin, Matt, and P-nut are out hiking part of the AT and making us all jealous. Pack for rain and come see the llamas Wednesday and Friday!

Thanks to the crew for such a great weekend. Wish I could have stayed longer. It was nice getting to talk to the people behind the blog posts.

We were just in the park for a few hours this morning as we passed through on our way back from Georgia. Not enough time to make the trek. Hope all is well at LeConte. See y'all in November. Keep up the great posts. 8/15/2016 04:22:32 pm
Oh how I miss Leconte lodge. So many great memories. We used to hike up every August just before school started back. The staff was always great, the food delicious (weird how it was always the same every year) and amazing how much wine we could drink in an hour! We can tell some great stories and our Leconte picture hangs on the wall of our den. It's time to make time to get back to the top of the mountain. Take care!

We had a wonderful stay with y'all on beautiful Mt LeConte. The weather, sunset, guitar music, delicious food and awesome view were totally worth the golf ball size blister I pre like a badge of honor the entire following week. Can't wait to get up there again.

I will be in NC next week, hoping you guys have a last minute cancelation or something. Thinking of hiking up Wednesday since I am a female hiking alone and I figure the lamas go up and down that day. If anything opens up for next Wednesday, Please let me know. Otherwise, I may try to hike up and run down on the same day. Any suggestions? Thanks

I think I ran into Justin at Kephart Prong Shelter this weekend! Very nice young man that kept the fire going even through all the rain! Comments are closed.
