High 41, Low 12.

First of all, A big thanks to everyone who brought fresh food goods this weekend, you've made my next month stretch up here much more comfortable! A lot of people walking around up here yesterday, it turned out to be such a nice sunny day, got those solar panel batteries charged back up. On friday night the Pop Hollandsworth crew made it up for their 41st Memorial hike for Dr. Charles Lindsley, who fell and died on Alum Cave Trail January 1971. This is the crew from this year, good times and the most people i've seen in the kitchen all winter. The second is from bullhead which is packed down very well right now, and then sunset last night.

wow, lots going on! I'm glad you got some fresh supplies and lots of visitors! Looks like a handsome group of hikers! :) Really glad you got your solar battery charged back up, it was nice to get a lengthy post from you again. ;) Also, that third picture of the sunset is AWESOME!! Really love that one! Take care, be safe!

Glad you got a little company, fresh food and recharged batteries. Juicy plant energy should start showing up in another couple of months. Hang in there!

I'm glad you got some fresh goodies. It's good to see that the Hollandsworth group made it up OK. I agree with sandee - they are a handsome group :-)

As usual, your pictures are awesome. Thank you!

Where do you buy your tea from? I'm always looking for good tea and can't find very many places in Knoxville that sell it.

Curious as to the story, I looked it up and found the attached link. How sad.

Hiked Alum Cave 1-29-11 Great hike it was so beautiful in the snow and clear. I passed the Pop Hallandsworth crew and I had the pleasure of talking with Lock Clifford,(Pop) at least I think I have the name right he siad he had 3 names LOL... he told me of the story of Dr Lindsley, what a great way to celebrate his memory. Lock & I had a good time talking about the Lord, I have a hiking group with my church and he was interrested in getting one of are t-shirts. So if one of you see could you pass it on. www.redemptionchurch. that is Knoxville Pleasant Ridge Rd. 37921 865-521-7777 Thanks God Bless. Pam Barrs

How long does it usually take to hike up Trilliam in the summer?
