First flight this morning taking off from Oconoluftee Overlook to the Lodge. They are transporting the ground crew and internal load of supplies to the Lodge. They will set down for this load. After that they will not set down again at the Lodge until they pick up the ground crew.

Middle photo: some of the supplies heading to the lodge.

Bottom photo: One of the first loads of the day. They got in a good day of flying but rain and winds moved in so they have stopped for the day. They will try again tomorrow.   Will post some more photos and updates tomorrow.

We are scheduled to be at the Lodge on March 28. If we get to the summit early enough I would like to put new cane on one of the dining chairs. Last summer I was told you have cane on hand if not I can bring enough for the job. I have five years experience.
