Morning y'all,
It's a beautiful, snowy morning up top. The high yesterday reached 34 degrees. The overnight low was 24 degrees. It was 25 degrees and mostly cloudy at 7am observation. The mountain received about an inch of snow last night. It is all fresh and powdery, so traction shouldn't be too bad. There is sure to be some black ice lurking beneath certain poorly draining sections, especially on Alum and Boulevard. Be prepared to slip a bit if you intend to go above Alum Cave. Enjoy the day!

That is an unusual but interesting picture. How close to your cabin were you?
