No snow. No rain. No problems! Another sunny day across the Smokies is on the books. We started off in the mid 20s again this morning, but temps jumped back above freezing faster than yesterday. We should enjoy a high in the lower 50s this afternoon, and hopefully the thermometer stays above freezing now and for an extended period. A couple more days of bountiful sunshine are on deck before rain and storms return for yet another consecutive weekend. But it’s too pretty outside to worry about that right now. The air is calm, and rambles to vistas like Myrtle Point are calling. Anyone hiking up today will get some grand views of the hazy valley below, likely a result of all the pollen overtaking the South.
