Greetings all, The rainfall began late last night and is continuing through the day. Overall we are expected approximately 1" of rain over the next two days. Be sure to pack rain gear and layer up if you are planning a hike to the summit. Temperatures are staying above freezing (low of 34) so ice should not be a concern but also be cautious when conditions are rainy. We here at LeConte Lodge would like to introduce Bill Yeager. Bill has been coming up to the lodge for an impressive thirty two consecutive years! He loves to hike up the mountain with his wife, who has made it up for 26 years, and his friends. Bills favorite trail is Trillium Gap Trail but has been on all five trails countless times. From rainy days like today to snow covered cabins to crystal clear skies, Bill has seen LeConte Lodge in all of its beauty. As a long time friend to the mountain, we wish Bill happy trails.  Bill Yeager, 71 years old -Adventure is out there. (35.654261, -83.436827)
