Hello down there! This little one showed me no fear while I was taking this photo. I believe if I would have let him or her, it would have climbed up my arm and made its way to my beard. Funny little squirrel! Okay, so how about this weather? Today is shaping up to be amazing. Sunny, with a little breeze and warm. Its currently 52 degrees. Perfect hiking weather in my opinion. Yesterday's high reached 47 and the low was a chilly 23 degrees. If you are planning a hike up to see us in the next few days, please check the weather forecast. They are predicting some stormy weather. Please be vigilant. Peace

Great pic! Wish I were up there lounging on that railing instead of here in Indiana...although it is nice weather-wise here.

Thanks for the sentiment Norman. I will keep you and your wife in my thoughts and prayers also. I am a person with alot of drive and determination and I just keep exploring and pushing myself to do whatever I want as long as I can. I sincerely hope to cross paths with some of you guys some day! I love the squirrel picture too! I have 4 or 5 in my yard and I love them. So far they haven't caused us any headaches! The only season I have never visited the GSMNP in is spring and I will be looking forward to more springtime pictures of the mountain.
