Hello down there. This little princess followed me from cabin 9 all the way across camp to cabin 4 this morning. When I would stop to take a picture, she would stomp and snort at me as if she was ashamed her picture had been taken. She hangs around camp most mornings. The crew and I named her Lucy. She brightens up my day even on the most cloudy. Today has been chilly up here on LeConte. The temp was 28 degrees at 5 am and continued to drop this morning. It has come up a little and the skies are currently clear. We only received .19 inches of rain yesterday and over night. The outlook looks good for the mountain the next couple of days. Come and see us!!!

I may have seen Lucy the other day on Bullhead. I came around a corner and there she stood in the middle of the trail. We stood and looked at each other before she stepped into the woods. 4/27/2015 04:20:12 pm

I wonder if she has a fawn somewhere (maybe the reason she snorted at you?) The first time in my life I heard a deer snort it was at night and I almost passed out! Looks like Ruthie is getting some really nasty weather if she's still in NO.
