Shout out to the birthday twins and interrogator from North table!

It was nice seeing the gentleman from LA hanging out up here today, too, the first time this season.

Do Lizard People look anything like Godzilla? I need to know because I want to be prepared in case they come knocking at my door!

That temperature report is about as brief as I think I've ever seen! Lol Reminds me of a kid who is in a hurry to go outside and play! It must be really busy or really gorgeous up there, or both. Hope you had a good weekend. It's rained so much here you could do whitewater kayaking down the street in front of our house!

I mean this as a compliment. But, Elktonbrant, I'm beginning to think you are as goofy as me or your mind is as warped as mine! But, that's okay. I tell my daughters and husband all the time that "weird is more fun than normal"! And, I suspect one of my two good friends on here, who shall remain nameless, will chime in because his one-liners and quick whit (sp?) keeps me in giggling all the time!

Elktonbrant, I hope by chance I get to meet you packing that new baby sometime on a trail or up at the lodge.

Yes, I am the master of one liners and warped humo(u)r!

Tammy, in college (2 decades plus ago) I took an intro to Jazz class as a senior elective. The professor was a well-known jazz musician who had done multiple international tours for both rock and jazz groups. He told me I was the "weirdest dude" he'd ever met. I still take that as perhaps the greatest compliment I have ever received.
My wife is very afraid I am going to pass along this weirdness to our son, and of course I have taken that as a challenge!
And yes, Kent is also one of the ringleaders of our bizarre troop (or would "troupe" be more appropriate?).

I have been to the lodge several times. Enjoyed all of them. I am on
stand-by reservations for either 7/23 or 7/22. 7/23 is my 89 birthday.
I will climb Alum Cave but would rather come Brushy Mt. but too
tough for me. Would love to come down Brushy Mt. trail but no
way to get back to Alum Cave trailhead to get car. Any suggestions.
