A nice, cloudy 64/44 day was a treat for all the fathers hiking up!

The chance of rain this week is pretty consistent so pack accordingly!

Llamas are up Wed/Fri/Sun this week.

Alum Cave will be closing up again through Thursday so plan accordingly.

A cloudy, damp 70 dropped to 47!

Finished recane-ing another chair yesterday only to find out that mater weaver Ms. Susan camp up to check out our loom!

If you're hiking up and know how to do these things please let us know! We love tutorials and I'm pretty sure the other guests would appreciate it also!

Alum is open through Sunday!

After a cloudy, nice 70/53 day we were assailed by rain clouds this morning, a marching band from heaven one could say.

Alum is open through Sunday and the llamas will be up Sunday also.

6.16.16. Overcast llama water

A cloudy 64/52 day rolled over during the night but it looks like we still might have rain in the forecast!

We had a lively bunch of guests last night and we hope they come back again!

Perhaps Sean/John will put on another concert for us.

We have llamas today and Sunday. Next week they'll be back to their Sun/Wed/Fri rotation.

Alum will be open once again Fri-Sun.

73/54 day was humid, sunny, cloudy, stormy, and heavy rainish within a matter of minutes.

6.14.16. Rolling in the thunder

There is a lot of thunder in the air guys!

Within a few seconds of taking this picture it had become extremely foreboding
We had a pleasant, cloudy 71/52 yesterday and it looks like we'll be in the rain for a few.

Llamas are coming up tomorrow, Thursday, and Sunday.

6.13.16. Misty mountain greens

What a pleasant way to start off the week!

69/54 were our temps for yesterday and this morning and we were greeted with a misty mess that is slowly burning off.

Alum Cave is once again closed and will open back up on Friday.

Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail will be closed tomorrow morning until 11 for mowing.

This week the llamas will be up Wed/Thurs/Sun.

It looks like rain in the forecast for the week for pack accordingly.

6.12.16. The evolution of chair

72 guys.

72 degrees yesterday, full sun all day, gorgeous sunset.

Too beautiful for words.

A 54 overnight has opened up a cloudy day, and dare I say it, it's a bit chilly this morning!

Don't worry Mr.Dave , we'll always have some set aside for you!

The llamas will be up Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sun next week so heads up!

6.11.16. Summer Swing

Dinner time!
Woo!

Tons of hikers out yesterday enjoying the nice 71 degree weather.

The overnight low of 47 was a nice break but we are ready for more sun!

Remember to keep hydrated! It's going to be hot in the valley before you get up here so take care of yourself and don't push it.

The llamas will be up tomorrow!
Please leave room for them in the Trillium parking lot.

Alum Cave will close again on Monday and won't open till Friday and next Tuesday Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail will be closed until 11am for mowing.

Take care of yourselves and other hikers on your way up!
