It looks like its gonna be another rainy day here in the park. Doesn't seem to be any heavy storms just small scattered showers all day. Yesterday we received 0.60 inches of rain and its gonna be about the same today. A slight breeze in the air keeping us cooled off as it is currently 56 degrees. As the llamas are on approached we can tell they are happy to be out of the hot temperatures of the valley below. Friendly reminder that it may be nice and cold at the lodge but expect much higher temperatures at the start of all the trails leading to the summit so bring plenty of water. Last nights low was 50 degrees so not much variance from day to night. Be sure to bring that rain gear if you plan on hitting the trails today and if you plan on staying the night pack a few extra layers.
