I realize I keep posting a photograph of the same tree over and over. This tree keeps changing, and everyday it captures my attention. Yesterday was a visually stunning day and the blue sky made this tree extraordinary. It did not get very warm, 36 degrees to be exact, but the sky cleared and the sun came out. We now have about 6" of snow on the ground. We were not able to fly yesterday because the clouds were hanging out over Sevierville. Today is a different story. It is a beautiful day up top and down below. We plan on flying in a couple of hours. Get out and enjoy some of this amazing weather. Hope to see you up top.

Glad that conditions improved so that you could fly in some supplies; surely it won't be long before the llamas begin their treks up and down; am bringing a chess set with me Sunday which I'll leave; perhaps someone can help me learn the game !

I love these new pictures. When I first glanced I thought it was a Bradford Pear tree in blossom... The ice/snow is beautiful!

Hey my husband, daugther and myself are hiking up this Friday, 4/2 (for our 21st anniversary..woot woot). We were wondering how bad the Blvd. trail was? We love that trail and were hoping to take our daughter on it this year.
