We had a high of 50 yesterday. It was a beautiful day up here. We had quite a few day hikers. The overnight low was 30. It was 40 and clear at 7am this morning. It looks like it'll be another stunning day.
Ron, Gary and I had a great Thanksgiving. We had twice baked potatoes, green bean mushroom casserole and steaks. We chatted to the late hour of 9pm. I'm learning how to make biscuits with Gary this morning. They'll be taking off today, so I'll be flying solo up here. I want to wish all my friends riding the Gravel Grovel tomorrow a safe and happy ride. It's one of the few times I'd want to be somewhere other than LeConte!

Where in Southern Indiana are you from? Or, were you a student who migrated here.

That is the kind of atmosphere I would love to have for a Thanksgiving dinner. Hope you and everyone enjoyed it.

Writing from Indianapolis. I understand you're a Hoosier? Best wishes during your stay on the mountain this winter. I'll be following your posts.
