Morning,
Yesterday was a beautiful day. We had a high of 51 and almost no wind. The low last night got down to 33 and it was up to 34 at 7am. It is a bit hazy this morning and NOAA is calling for a chance of afternoon showers. There were plenty of folks up here yesterday. Nearly everyone I talked to mentioned that it was too beautiful a day not to hike. It felt like my job this past summer with the Green Mountain Club, where we'd work 'summit duty' and inform visitors about the unique alpine vegetation, give folks directions and chat about life up top. I'll be doing some short trips near camp today, but will mainly be around to talk to the hikers on what promises to be another busy day up here. Have a safe hike!

Glad people are able to get out and hike. We've had pretty good weather the last 2 days here in Indiana. Wish I were closer and didn't have family who visited so I could make a day hike up there. Love LeConte. Are we to assume that you were in Vermont? Or are their other Green Mountain Boys or am I recalling my revolutionary history incorrectly?
