 Chris took this picture on a hike up the mountain side east of camp. The views were amazing yesterday. The air was crisp and clear. The high yesterday was 44. You could tell it was a holiday. There were a lot of folks taking advantage of the amazing weather. The low last night was 27. It is currently 29. It is looking like another great day up top. I hope everyone can get out and enjoy this beautiful Easter weekend.

Very nice view of the lodge; one not often seen; I did some cross country hikling around that side of the mountain two years ago and found it a pleasant outing; Two years ago I also brought the crew some of those Cadbury chocolate eggs and wanted to this year but just couldn't arrange it; My apologies; next year I'll get plenty of them up to you one way or another; This site is very important to me and I thank you for it; Have a great Easter everyone !

I really appreciate your daily posts of the temps on the mountain. We will be there next Sunday and this will help me plan what to wear and bring. Thanks for your time everyday.. Cool pic of the lodge.

Most amazing journey last weekend with friends hiking to the top of mt leconte and staying in the lodge. Great meals and lodging! Most of all great spiritual experience to celebrate creation

We hiked up Friday and spent the night. It was an experience you have to "experience" in person to get the full meaning of how much fun it was. They treat you so well at the lodge, and the food is amazing, better than anything you can get in town, and you get more than you can eat. My family will most definitely do this again. The weather was great, cold and crisp but made the hike that much nicer. Hats off to the folks that work there and make this adventure as great as it was. See you soon. Comments are closed.
