"When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator."
- Mahatma Gandhi After spending the day getting ready for guests, the crew decided to enjoy a peaceful sunset. It is always a tranquil ending to a hectic day to just sit and breath in the rich colors and fading sun. Now, I am ready for the season to begin.

We just wanted to say how wonderful it was sharing opening day with you as your first reserved lunch guests! (lunch was delicious! by the way) We so enjoyed seeing the lamas arrive from their first journey of the season up the mountain. I'm always heartbroken when it's time for us to head back down the mountain. We've had our hearts set on staying overnight in the fall but I think we will try the spring instead... till then we'll be keeping up with your blog and we'll see you the first week in October for lunch!
