It is a dark morning on the mountain. The fog is like a blanket sitting on top of the mountain. It was a busy weekend at the lodge. Seem to be a lot of families getting that last minute vacation in before school starts. There have been a few bears seen outside of camp. So far, they are staying on the outskirts of camp and not coming in. That is a good thing. Please remember, if you are day hiking or overnight hiking, do not leave your gear unattended.

Good morniing Allyson and everybody: We have finally received some of the rain you've been getting here in London, KY; much needed and welcome; this old building I work in has no A/C, just a lot of forced air fans, so the precipitation is good; I, too, love your b & w photos, being an old photographer myself and having produced countless b&w's back in the day; very nice; kepp them coming; good advice about leaving packs unattended; so many times over the years hiking in the Park have I seen people set a pack down and wander off to get water or something only to return to a completely shredded piece of gear; cheers.
