Good morning, It’s currently 35 degrees and partly cloudy up top. We received no precipitation. The winds are still moving so I would recommend a good wind layer if you find yourself hiking up the mountain. 24 hour temperature range: High 47 Low 33 -- The breeze was noticeably softer than the day before. Sauntering through the early morning light, my eyes met a hazy cloud poised above Mt. Le Conte. As if the winds were reading my mind, they began to pick up the pace - exposing a grinning crescent moon. I returned the grin, delighted that I’d get to see a show… The sun stretched its golden rays toward the heavens, kissing the speckled sky along the way. Just when it couldn’t get any better, the scent of dancing evergreens landed on my nose. Lookin up again, the moon seemed to be grinning more than before… I was too. Onward, Seth If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable.
