 Nothing was more wonderful than waiting for a happiness you could be sure of. Barbara Kingsolver Morning y'all, It is a beautiful morning up top. The high yesterday reached 49 degrees. The overnight low was 41 degrees. It was 43 degrees and clear at 7am observation. The mountain received no new precipitation and there is very little ice remaining on the trails. I ran down Bullhead yesterday and came up Alum, you really have to look for it at this point. It's shaping up to be a gorgeous weekend, get out and enjoy it!

NBC debuted "Coat of Many Colors" based on Dolly's song on Thursday night. I saw parts of it on DVR last night. It's also available on the NBC website to watch. The visuals of our mountains were, of course, spectacular.

Dolly Parton has a movie out. It was on WBIR. GREAT MOVIE!!!! Well on NBC.

Doug, you can bring it when/if you come to meet Tommy and I in Gatlinburg over the holidays. I would like to hike a ways up Alum to see the improvements so maybe we can all meet JP and give him the "present". That is if he's not off the mountain over the holidays.
