Who knew that seeing patches of dirt and grass would be such a lovely thing? The snow is leaving the top of the mountain and you can now see the ground. There are still areas where the snow is deep. Chris and I hiked down Rainbow yesterday to see how the snow was. It is pretty deep in some spots. We wanted to see if the llamas could make it up. I am afraid it is going to be little while longer. The high yesterday was 58 with a low of 40. It is staying pretty warm up here. A good day of rain would help things considerably. Easter Sunday is starting out to look like a beautiful day. I am sure we will see a lot of hikers on the mountain today.
There is still quite a bit of snow off the beaten track.
