Thank you for the photojournal, and Happy Thanksgiving to you all! A question for the winter caretaker: do you still have access to the kitchen? What do you eat while you're up there in the winter?

Kind of sad to see the closing...but creates an even better feeling as one looks forward to the lodge's opening.

I must agree with Pat in that it's a bit sad to see the dining hall boarded up like that, to realize the lodge is closed, for a while anyway; I was imagining how it must feel for Alex during those first few days alone as caretaker up there; I believe it'd be a very calming experience to be up there during the winter off-season; I thank you, too, for the photos and posts this past season; good holidays to all the crew.
