Hello fellow explorers! The weather is showing definite signs of fall and it's beautiful! Leaves are changing and cooler weather is on the way.
Last nights low was 37 and today's high was 63. In celebration of the changing season, P-Nut, Tate and I ran down Alum Cave today to get pumpkins to hike back up to the lodge! -Luke

Are llamas on normal Mon. Wed. Fri. schedule this week? We're hiking up this Friday for first time ever for my daughters birthday and she's hoping to see them.

My daughter and I spent the night 10/11 for the first time and had an incredible time. Loved the food and company, the sunset at Cliff Tops was breathtaking, and the games in the office that night were a blast. Thanks to the staff for a great time...hope I can get reservations for next year!

My wife Shelli and I were up in mid sept. We hiked the boulevard trail for our first visit, it was awesome. The crew at the top are the "tops". They made our stay so memorable that I managed to pull reservations again for 2017, awesome, can hardly wait to get back. Looking forward to the Alum cave trail since the renovations. I know you trail runners are in shape, please be careful and enjoy, we want to see you next year !

Us llamas were just chillin' round our feed troughs today, when our eyes caught P-Nut, Tate and Luke headin' our way. We lifted up our heads and our ears began to rise, and suddenly to our surprise.....They'd done a dash. They'd done a pumpkin dash. A pumpkin dash, it was a LeConte smash. They'd done a dash. They got back in flash. They'd done a dash. They'd done a pumpkin dash.......I don't know why, but the song "Monster Mash" popped into my head when I read the blog. Ha! See ya'll in less than 2 weeks! Save some of that fall color for us! Comments are closed.
