When the Pleiades and the wind in the grass are no longer a part of the human spirit, a part of very flesh and bone, man becomes, as it were a kind of cosmic outlaw, having neither the completeness and integrity of the animal nor the birthright of a true humanity. Henry Beston
It's a beautiful, clear morning up top. The high yesterday reached 19 degrees. The overnight low was 3 degrees. It was 13 degrees and clear at 7am observation. The mountain received no new precipitation and there is no snow remaining up top. I went down Bullhead and up Alum with relatively little trouble yesterday. There are a few icy patches, but it is easy enough to dance around if you go without traction. Get out and enjoy this beautiful day!
