Morning y'all, It's a blustery, damp day up top. The high yesterday reached 41 degrees. The overnight low was 16 degrees, recorded early yesterday morning. It was 39 degrees and cloudy at 7am observation. The mountain received no new precipitation and there has been some melt. There is still about 1 inch of snow on the ground, but it is fading fast. The trails are in really sloppy shape, with some heavy melt, a few icy sections and a lot of water runoff. It seems like it will be a quiet day on the trails, get out and enjoy them!

The Seneca quote is very profound indeed. I will never live long enough to do all the things I want to do, to study all the theories, principles, and concepts I desire, nor travel to all the wonderful locations I long to see but I do not consider myself to be poor for these wants and desires. Quite the contrary, I have had many nice hobbies, still do, I have done some worldly travelling, and I consider myself to have had a blessed life for these things, even in wanting more. But along my way it has been the journey that has been the destination ! So, no matter where I go, there I am ! g'day
