Our high yesterday was 42 degrees. Our overnight low was 16 degrees. It was clear and 27 degrees at 7 am observation. We received 0 inches of precipitation. 0 inches of new snow. Our snow depth is 2 inches. Snow is in the forecast for Wednesday so we will see how much we get! Alum is a bit icy but easy to maneuver around those tricky areas. Thanks for all the goodies people brought up this weekend!
Today was TRAINING DAY! We hiked up 2 new water spigots for the lodge. Each weighing around 30 pounds and 5 feet long. Very odd seeing that, I'm sure, on trail. We were asked if they were potato guns, telescopes, and even rocket launchers at times. The climb was much harder the last mile on Alum but we made it. Now it's time to shower and eat and relax! Great day and a great weekend spent on the mountain! Hope you had a great day and were able to get outside this weekend! SEE YOU AT THE TOP!
