Free Time.

8/6/2016

Hello down there LeConte lovers! Many of you guys that come visit us up on the mount have been asking us what we do in our free time when we are not working or are down the mountain. To keep things simple we enjoy life! In more detail here's a few of the fun things that we do: all of us read quite a bit to keep up on our favorite authors, some of us journal, trail run up to Myrtle Point or the Bluffs to keep in shape (or try to beat the record of running down the mtn....Luke) , sit in hammocks and enjoy the views, pet the llamas, nap, go to secret spots and meditate, snapchat, rock paint, play Pokemon Go, do the laundry, color in a coloring book, crotchet wicked hats and blankets, play Settlers of Catan, drink Coke Zero and build tables , banjo and guitar it up, smell/photograph the flowers, and do the BBG or loglift (ask Jess on that one). Whew that's not even close to everything. Not to mention on our days off Walt climbed Mt Rainier (#beast), I backpacked to Denali NP for a few days, Turnip went to Bonnaroo, Knoxville fun days with Jess, Texas trip, as well as many other cool adventures. We like to get out and travel what can I say?

The current temperature is 65F with a low of 53F with a slight chance of rain today. Keep doing what you do for fun! Happy hiking up the mountain!

-Justin

I like that Clemson orange and purple hammock. Or is it Gator or War Eagle?

Hey, y'all, how's the restoration coming along on Alum Cave? Our group will be joining you in November (on a Friday night) and many of us will want to hike Alum Cave.

Alum Cave Trail is looking better by the week. If you are coming in November it should be just about done.
